As you may know Curtis was diagnosed with testicular cancer on May 13th and the CT scan they did at the hospital showed that it had metastasized to his lungs. He got the surgery to remove the cancer in his testicle and got a lung biopsy. We found out in May that he has the more rare and aggressive type of cancer called non-seminoma and he did daily aggressive chemo for over 12 weeks making him unable to work. He then was told he was in remission until his next scan 3 months from then. He got that scan the day before Thanksgiving where we just got the results that there are still 25 tumors in his lungs and they will be doing two separate surgeries on his lungs to remove them and then another 6 weeks of chemo. The first lung surgery is this Monday, December 14th. Please keep him in your thoughts and any support is greatly appreciated.

Curtis has acted so positive and brave about his diagnosis from the start. He had intense sadness and fear that lead to a painful panic attack after finding out the news and from then on decided to view it as a wake up call that he needed to care more about himself and his health. He has inspired everyone around him and continues to shock us with his strength. Today's news was hard and unexpected, but we are ready to put in the good fight and get him back his health.
